Turn a long video into Shorts, automatically
A podcast, a lecture, a livestream or a long YouTube video already contains your best short clips. Quorvid finds them and cuts them for you.
How it works
- Add the video. Upload a file (MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM or AVI, up to 1 GB) or choose a video you made in Quorvid.
- Transcribe. The speech is turned into text with word-level timing.
- Find the moments. Quorvid picks passages that are engaging and stand on their own, such as strong openings and complete thoughts, and spreads the picks across the video.
- Cut and reframe. Each clip is cut out and framed vertically for 9:16, with captions burned in if you want them.
You decide the size
- Choose how many Shorts to create, from 1 to 10.
- Set the shortest and longest clip length.
- Turn captions and background music on or off.
- Optionally trim long silent gaps.
An example
Take a 40-minute podcast episode. Upload it, ask for five Shorts between 30 and 45 seconds, leave captions on and turn on silence trimming. When it finishes, you have five vertical clips to review. Keep the strong ones, and publish them over the next week to bring people back to the full episode.
Where it helps most
Interviews, podcasts, tutorials, talks, game commentary and any video where people speak. Clips need clear speech to be found well, so very noisy recordings give weaker results.
Price
Each short costs 5 credits. The shorts use free tools on our side, so your 6 free daily credits can pay for them, and the price is shown before you generate.
Review before posting
Automatic selection is a starting point, not a guarantee that every clip is the best one. Watch the results and keep the ones you like.
